August 13, 2023 - After 8 laps, the King of the Park was rained out. Mitch McGrath was the Ken's Sports Inc. Pole Sitter for the King of the Park at Angell Park Speedway. McGrath was the leader when the rain started, but with an early curfew, there was not enough time for the track conditions to improve and for the race to finish before the 10:00 curfew.
Earlier in the night, Jayme Zidar was the Champ Pans WABAM Dirt Kings Tour King of the Park Fast Qualifier! Zidar set a new track record with a 14.127 second lap at Angell Park Speedway, breaking the old track record set by Mitch McGrath on August 15, 2021.
