2022 WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour Events to be Streamed Live on XR+

SILVER BAY, Minn. (January 10, 2022) — X.CELERATED and the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour announce an agreement to broadcast 2022 series events on XR+.

Entering its sixth year, the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour visits tracks across Wisconsin and northern Illinois and is one of the fastest-growing racing series in the United States. The series will bring its signature excitement and side-by-side action to XR’s online streaming service, XR+.

WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour events will be streamed live flag-to-flag on XR+ and/or available on demand. It’ll be the first time the tour’s races will ever be on XR+.

The 2022 WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour season will feature 15 events – the most in its history – at nine different tracks. The season begins with the Spring Thaw at Shawano Speedway (Wis.) on April 16 and will conclude with the Crowning of the King at Outagamie Speedway (Wis.) on Sept. 17.

“We’re certainly thrilled to be broadcasting the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour this year,” said XR Chief Operating Officer Dan Robinson. “We’ve seen the growth and enthusiasm around this series and wanted to be a part of that. The races are always exciting, and we can’t wait to bring that action to XR+.”

One-hundred forty different drivers have competed in the series, and 22 different drivers have won races, earning the title of King. Navarino, Wis., driver Nick Anvelink is the four-time and defending WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour champion and will be back to go for a fifth title.

The tour’s season-opener will be the 50th event in series history.
