Nick is King!
Sturgeon Bay, WI - Nick Anvelink was crowned King of the Fair in BMRE Electrick Carts Co Victory Lane at The Hill Raceway, the 100th race in WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour history, earning the $5000 payday, sponsored by Seubert Calf Ranches.

Tim Isenberg and Jesse Glenz led the field to start the 50-lap King of the Fair. Isenberg jumped ahead to the lead while Glenz raced with Anvelink for second. Isenberg pulled ahead to a .970 second lead over Glenz before he had to navigate through traffic at the tail end of the field. Isenberg maintained the advantage as Anvelink challenged Glenz for second, as they worked through the tail end of the field. Anvelink advanced to second place on lap 19 and set his sights on Isenberg. Isenberg continued to work through the tail end of the field as Anvelink closed the gap.

At the halfway point, Anvelink tried to pass to the inside of Isenberg, but Isenberg held on. With racing all around the track, Isenberg tried the outside of a lapped car while Anvelink looked to the inside with Glenz and Mitch McGrath right behind. Isenberg continued on the high side trying to work around Kurt Moeller as Anvelink stayed down low. Moeller hit a bump and stepped out, slowing Isenberg and Anvelink advanced to the lead on lap 27. Anvelink pulled ahead to a .918 second lead as Glenz and McGrath both passed Isenberg, who shuffled back to fourth.

With a clear track in front of him, Anvelink pulled away to a 2.102 second lead over Glenz before the caution came out on lap 38. On the restart, Anvelink maintained the lead as McGrath challenged Glenz for second, moving around the top side of the track. Anvelink pulled away to a .540 second lead before caution slowed the field on lap 41. Anvelink watched the battle unfold between McGrath and Glenz with Joel Bennett and Isenberg behind him. McGrath and Glenz battled for second place, allowing Anvelink to pull ahead to a 2.196 second advantage over second place with seven laps to go. Glenz worked the bottom of the track while McGrath remained on the high side. As they raced down the front stretch, McGrath got sucked into the wall in turn one, bringing out the final caution of the night.

The final restart had Anvelink pulling away from Glenz and Bennett with Paul Parker and Isenberg rounding out the top five. Anvelink went on to win the King of the Fair, his 31st WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour victory, 3.520 seconds ahead of Glenz. Bennett finished third followed by Parker and Isenberg.

Justin Ritchie finished sixth followed by Brett Swedberg, Moeller, Turk Letizia and Joe Bongiorno.

Earlier in the night, Taylor Scheffler was the Champ Pans Fast Qualifier, blazing a 13.960 second lap around The Hill Raceway.

The 2026 WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour Championship Point Standings at the halfway point have Justin Ritchie, Nick Anvelink, Chris Oertel, Brett Swedberg and Troy Springborn in the top five, with six races to go.
