RIPDIamond

On April 14, 2021 we lost one of the best personalities in the pits, Diamond Jim Letizia, driver of the D7. Diamond Jim was a beloved part of the Dirt Kings Tour Family. Never without a smile, Diamond Jim constantly displayed the best characteristics of a racer. His dedication, spirit, and personality led to the creation of the Diamond Person of the Year Award in 2018. It has been our privilege to honor Diamond Jim with The Diamond race each year. This year The Diamond 43 was in honor of Diamond Jim's 43 years in racing and in the automotive business. In addition to his car dealerships, Diamond Jim was the owner of Diamond Jim's Steakhouse in Hales Corners, WI. Diamond Jim was a friend to all and sponsored several different cars on the Dirt Kings Tour. Diamond Jim will be greatly missed.
