FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE— DIRT KINGS TOUR FINALIZES 2020 SCHEDULE

Freedom, WI - January 24, 2020 - The highly anticipated fourth season of the DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings Late Model Tour will feature twelve events at nine different dirt tracks across the state of Wisconsin and race with the World of Outlaws Late Model Tour at Outagamie Speedway, Plymouth Dirt Track Racing and Beaver Dam Raceway this summer.

Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, WI will host the first race of the season, the Rumble by the River 40 on Friday, May 22. Last year, local favorite Jake Timm was crowned King, holding off Jimmy Mars for his first win. The Rumble by the River will pay $3000 to win and $400 to start.

SK Speedway in Unity, WI will host the Salute to Service 30 on Friday, May 29. The King will take home $2000. The Tour visited the former Spring Lake Speedway in 2018, with Nick Anvelink holding off Ron Berna and Brett Swedberg for the win. Outagamie Speedway in Seymour, WI will host the Kings Classic on Friday, June 5. Nick Anvelink and Mitch McGrath both visited the Mueller's Sales & Service Victory Lane at Outagamie Speedway in 2019. On Tuesday, June 16 the Tour visits 141 Speedway in Maribel, WI for the Clash at the Creek, at the track that Justin Ritchie and Taylor Scheffler were crowned King last year.

The Northwoods Showdown at TNT Speedway on Saturday, June 27 will pay $2500 to win and $400 to start. Nick Anvelink was crowned King last year, holding off Mark Rose and Ron Berna.

An Independence Day Double Header starts in Eagle Valley Speedway in Jim Falls, WI to host the Tour for the third annual Independence Day Shootout on Thursday, July 2. Jake Redetzke and Cade Dillard are former winners of the event, paying $3000 to the King and $400 to start. The next day, the Tour returns to Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, WI for the $4000-to-win Firecracker 40. The Firecracker 40 will pay $400 to start and promises to be an action-packed race.

The DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings drivers will compete with the World of Outlaws Late Model Tour three times this summer. Outagamie Speedway in Seymour, WI hosts on Friday, July 10, Plymouth Dirt Track Racing in Plymouth, WI hosts on Saturday, July 11, and Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, WI hosts on Tuesday, August 4.

The crown jewel of the 2020 Dirt Kings Tour, The Diamond 42 moves to Plymouth Dirt Track Racing this year on Friday, August 14. The 42-lap race pays $4200 to the King and $420 to start. Jared Siefert was crowned King of The Diamond 40 and Justin Ritchie was crowned King of The Diamond 41. Both drivers have found success at Plymouth Dirt Track Racing in the past and will be looking to defend their title.

The Dirt Kings Tour returns to the historic Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, WI for the Summer Sizzler on Sunday, August 16. The first time the Tour visited Angell Park in 2017, Cole Spacek was crowned King and scored his first win.

Plymouth Dirt Track Racing will host the Mueller's Sales & Service 30 on Friday, August 23. Jimmy Mars and Mitch McGrath have both been crowned King at Plymouth in the past, with McGrath winning two-in-a-row, holding off Taylor Scheffler last fall.

The 3rd Annual Jim "W1ldman" Watson Classic will be held on Saturday, September 12 at Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, WI. Last year, Nick Anvelink made a late lap pass of defending winner Mitch McGrath to be crowned King.

141 Speedway in Maribel, WI will host the 2020 Dirt Kings Tour finale, the Crowning of the King on Thursday, September 26. Last year, Taylor Scheffler was crowned King, earning his first DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings Late Model Tour victory.
