Freedom, WI - June 16, 2020 - The Firecracker Double Header at Mississippi Thunder Speedway on Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3 just got a little hotter, with both nights paying $5,000 to win and $500 to start the 40 lap A-Main.

47 drivers were on hand for the 2020 DiscountShopTowels.com Dirt Kings Late Model Tour season opener at Mississippi Thunder Speedway on Friday, May 22, where Jake Timm was crowned King of the Rumble by the River 40. Timm also visited Mueller's Sales & Service Victory Lane last season when the Tour visited Mississippi Thunder Speedway.

The Firecracker Double Header is shaping up to two of the biggest races in the history of the Dirt Kings Tour. "We’re very excited to see two great nights of racing at Mississippi Thunder Speedway as drivers compete for the two biggest purses in Tour history," says Jason Shultz, Dirt Kings Tour Promoter. "On top of that we love racing for the fans at Mississippi Thunder and can’t wait to put on a great show for them," says Shultz.
