2024 WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour Schedule Release

2024 WABAM DIRT KINGS LATE MODEL TOUR SCHEDULE

Freedom, WI - January 4, 2024 - Dirt Kings Tour Promoters are excited to release the 2024 WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour schedule featuring 16 events at 10 tracks across the state of Wisconsin with visits to Iowa and Illinois.

The 8th season for the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour is sure to provide to thrilling racing and feature another epic battle for the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Championship. Last season, the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour had record car counts with seven different drivers being crowned King and a three-way battle for the championship. Nick Anvelink is the 6-time and defending WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Champion and Justin Ritchie was the 2020 Champion. Entering the 2024 season, Nick Anvelink leads the way with 25 victories, while Mitch McGrath has 7 victories. Taylor Scheffler, Mike Mullen, Jake Timm and Troy Springborn each have four victories followed by AJ Diemel with three victories. Kyle Raddant, Brad Mueller and Dustin Sorensen each have two victories and 16 other drivers have one victory.

The much anticipated eighth season of the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour will begin at Shawano Speedway, the legendary half-mile oval on Saturday, April 13 for $1500-to-win The Lumberyard Bar & Grill Spring Thaw. For the very first time, the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour will be in action at Beaver Dam Raceway on Saturday, April 20 for the Wisconsin Triple Crown with the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series and the Badger Midgets.

Outagamie Speedway in Seymour hosts three events again this season, kicking off Memorial Day weekend with the Salute to Service 30 on Friday, May 24.

Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City hosts the first of two WABAM Dirt Kings Tour events during the 2024 season on Friday, June 7. The $3000-to-win Stars & Stripes 40 presented by Arcadia Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, kicks off the first double-header weekend as Winneshiek Raceway in Decorah, IA plays host to the $5000-to-win King of the Bullring on Saturday, June 8. The King of the Bullring will be the very first trip to Iowa for the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour.

The crown jewel of the 2024 WABAM Dirt Kings Tour, The Diamond 46 completes the month of June at 141 Speedway on Saturday, June 22. The 46-lap race pays $4,600 to the King and $460 to start. Jared Siefert, Justin Ritchie, Jesse Glenz, Taylor Scheffler and Nick Anvelink have been crowned Kings of The Diamond, the event honoring Diamond Jim Letizia.

The Tour returns to Outagamie Speedway on Friday, July 5 for the Mid-Summer Showdown. The second double-header weekend of the year starts on Friday, July 26 at Langlade County Speedway in Antigo with the $2500-to-win King of the Fair. The next night, the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour returns to Shawano Speedway for the $1500-to-win Gehm’s Club 117 Kings Classic.

Historic Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie hosts the King of the Park on Sunday, August 11 and the Tour returns to Mississippi Thunder Speedway for a second time on Friday, August 16 for the $5000-to-win Rumble by the River 40, presented by Hurco & Stone Machinery. Finishing out the month of August, the WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour visits Plymouth Dirt Track Racing on Friday, August 23 for the WABAM 30.

Two double-header weekends in September setup the battle for the Championship as the Tour returns to Langlade County Speedway for the $2500-to-win King of the Northwoods on Friday, September 13 and returns to Outagamie Speedway for the Fall Brawl on Saturday, September 14.

The next weekend, Sycamore Speedway in Maple Park, IL hosts the $3000-to-win Summer Sizzler on Friday, September 20 and the 2024 WABAM Dirt Kings Late Model Tour finishes the season with the $2000-to-win 7th Annual Jim W1ldman Watson Classic at Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, WI to complete the double-header weekend.
